1. Scope and roles
This policy applies to information we collect through:
- Our marketing website and waitlist forms;
- Customer accounts and onboarding for the Roazr platform;
- Integrations you authorize, including ad platforms, WhatsApp Business API, payment processors, and analytics tools; and
- Communications with our sales, support, and success teams.
When you use Roazr to process data about your customers, leads, or end users ("End-User Data"), you are generally the data controller (or equivalent under applicable law) and Etin Media acts as a service provider or processor on your behalf. Your use of End-User Data through Roazr is also governed by your agreement with us and, where applicable, a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). This policy focuses on how we handle information as a controller of our own business data and as a processor of customer-submitted data.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Contact and account information: name, business name, email address, phone number, job title, billing details, and credentials you create for your Roazr account.
- Waitlist and marketing inquiries: email address and any message content you submit through our website forms or email.
- Support communications: information you share when you contact us for help, onboarding, or product feedback.
- Configuration data: settings, campaign mappings, attribution rules, and integration preferences you configure in the platform.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Website usage data: pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and timestamps.
- Log and diagnostic data: error reports, API request metadata, performance metrics, and security logs needed to operate and protect the Services.
- Theme preference: if you toggle light or dark mode on our website, we store that preference locally in your browser (see Section 11).
2.3 Information from integrations you connect
When you authorize Roazr to connect with third-party services, we may receive data necessary to provide attribution, including:
- Advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok): ad account identifiers, campaign and ad set metadata, spend data, click identifiers, pixel or conversion API tokens you supply, and event delivery status.
- WhatsApp Business API: business account identifiers, message metadata (such as timestamps and conversation identifiers), and conversion signals needed to attribute sales to campaigns. We do not use your WhatsApp integration to send unsolicited marketing messages on your behalf unless you explicitly configure such workflows.
- Payment processors (e.g., Paystack and similar providers): transaction references, amounts, currencies, payment status, and limited payer or customer identifiers supplied by the processor for reconciliation and attribution.
- Website and funnel tools: page views, UTM parameters, click IDs, form submissions, and other event data you route to Roazr.
The specific data received depends on the permissions you grant and the configuration of each integration. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and share End-User Data with Roazr.
2.4 Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health data, or financial account credentials beyond what payment processors share for transaction matching. Please do not submit passwords, full payment card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive data through support channels.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Roazr platform and website;
- Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Attribute marketing touchpoints to sales and revenue outcomes;
- Send server-side and offline conversion events to ad platforms you connect;
- Generate dashboards, reports, ROAS metrics, and operational alerts;
- Process waitlist sign-ups and respond to sales or support requests;
- Send service-related notices, product updates, and administrative messages;
- Analyze usage trends to improve performance, reliability, and user experience;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- Protect the rights, property, and safety of Etin Media, our customers, and others.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for analytics, benchmarking, and product development.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: to provide the Services you request and administer your account.
- Legitimate interests: to secure our platform, improve our products, communicate with prospects and customers, and understand how the Services are used — balanced against your rights and expectations.
- Consent: where required for certain marketing communications, optional cookies, or specific integrations you enable.
- Legal obligation: to comply with law, regulation, court order, or governmental request.
If you are located in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you may have additional rights described in Section 10.
6. Third-party integrations
Roazr is designed to work with services operated by third parties. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms. When you connect an integration, you instruct Roazr to exchange data with that provider according to your configuration.
Examples include:
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram): for ads reporting and Conversions API event delivery;
- Google Ads: for offline and online conversion import;
- TikTok: for campaign attribution and event sharing;
- WhatsApp / Meta Business Platform: for business messaging metadata and conversion tracking; and
- Payment processors such as Paystack for transaction matching.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms. We encourage you to review their policies and configure only the data flows required for your business.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary based on data type:
- Account and billing records: for the life of your account and a reasonable period thereafter;
- Attribution and event data: according to your plan settings and operational needs, typically between 13 and 36 months unless you request earlier deletion where permitted;
- Website logs: for a limited period needed for security and analytics; and
- Marketing and waitlist data: until you unsubscribe, object, or we no longer need the information for outreach.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our internal retention schedule, subject to backup cycles and legal holds.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, least-privilege practices, and vendor security reviews.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and managing access within your organization. Please notify us promptly at privacy@roazr.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. International transfers
Etin Media is based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If you access the Services from Africa, Europe, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms approved under applicable law.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Delete information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Receive a portable copy of information you provided;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
If you are an end customer of a business using Roazr, please contact that business first regarding End-User Data. We will assist our customers in responding to valid requests as required by our agreements and applicable law.
To exercise your rights as a website visitor, waitlist subscriber, or account holder, email privacy@roazr.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We aim to respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
12. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. For significant changes affecting registered customers, we may also provide additional notice by email or in-product message.
Your continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
